Prof. Leonardo Marini

  • Il Prof. Leonardo Marini si è laureato in Medicina e Chirurgia a Trieste nel 1980. È specialista in Chirurgia Generale e in Dermatologia e Venereologia. Dal 1988 svolge la sua attività come Chirurgo Dermatologo. Ha frequentato la New York University (NYU) School of Medicine e l'Università di Tubingen specializzandosi nell'asportazione dei tumori della pelle con la tecnica Micrografica di Mohs. È stato uno dei membri fondatori della Società Europea che riunisce gli specialisti di questa particolare branca chirurgica: l'European Society for Micrographic Surgery (ESMS). Ha frequentato la sezione di Dermatopatologia diretta dal Prof. Bernard Ackerman a New York. Ha frequentato la Haut-Klinik di Wuppertal, diretta dal Prof. Eckart Haneke, e l'Ospedale La Timone di Marsiglia per apprendere la chirurgia dell'unghia. Si è dedicato successivamente alla Laser Dermatologia specializzandosi nelle varie tecniche che utilizzano queste sorgenti luminose presso i più prestigiosi Centri europei, statunitensi ed australiani. Ha affinato la sua esperienza nel campo della Chirurgia Dermatologica Estetica e Ricostruttiva negli Stati Uniti, Australia ed Europa. Nel 1996 ha fondato, assieme ai nomi più prestigiosi della Dermatologia Chirurgica europea, l' European Society for Laser Dermatology (ESLD) di cui è stato Presidente. Ha contribuito alla fondazione della European Society for Aesthetic and Cosmetic Dermatology (ESCAD) della quale è stato anche Presidente. Ha ricoperto la carica di Direttore della Sezione di Laser Dermatologia dell'Istituto Dermatologico Europeo di Milano. Attualmente insegna Laser Dermatologia presso le Università di Parma e Siena. E' docente della medesima disciplina al Master di Chirurgia Dermatologica dell'Università di Siena e al Master di Laser Dermatologia dell'Università Cattolica di Roma. E' vice-chairman della Task Force per la Laser Dermatologia presso l'EADV (European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology) e Presidente Onorario dell' Hellenic Society for Dermatologic Surgery. E' membro del Tricare Preferred Provider Network (Europe) per la Dermatologia e Chirurgia Dermatologica. Svolge costantemente un'intensa attività didattica e congressuale ed ha al suo attivo numerosissime pubblicazioni sia in campo nazionale che internazionale.
